| Abstract🙅♂️： | We define for compact metric spaces quantitative indices that take into account propagation phenomena for pseudo-differential calculus. We relate these quantitative indices to the Novikov conjecture. As an application, we provide an elementary proof of Novikov conjecture for group with finite decomposition complexity.
