| Abstract⛹🏽♀️： | In this talk I will describe how some ideas from algebraic topology can be used to shed light on the analysis of complex data sets. In particular, I will touch on several applications ranging from computer vision and biology, to the problem of feature extraction in high dimensional data. The goal of the talk is to highlight some of the mathematics involved, as well as the results on the relevant applications. |
